Hi Ron,Hi guys.
I'm Marcello from Italy..what can i say about the seminary...I'm so happy,because it has been a PERFECT seminary...every teachers gave us important advices and most important every teacher is a very kind and nice person.
Even the other guys arrived all across Europe are very nice guys!!!I hope next yera Frank and Ron are going to organize another Holland Stick seminary...thanks again to all of you...

Interview 2 April 2004 before the Seminar:
1.Which Stick do you play ?10 string(i ordered a 12 grand stick!!!)
2.What tuning do you use?Standard
3.Which gauge strings?light(but ordered medium)
4.How long do you play Stick?less than a year
5.Which other instruments do you play and how long?Guitar,12 years
6.If you would have to choose to 4 levels of playing in which 1=absolute
beginner 2=beginner but knows some music theory,play a simple song
3=intermediate 4=advanced , which number would you give yourself?

7.Please give me also a number(1,2,3 or 4) of the level of knowledge/skill
of the next subject:
-Reading Staff Notation 3
-Reading Tablature 4
-Can you play major/minor chords? In open and close harmony? Yes
-Do you know all 7 modes/scales/chords ? Yes
-Can you play chordprogressions? yes
-Can you play a song not complete!
8.Do you play in a band or solo?Yes,in 3 bands
9.Which specific subjects would you like the teachers to concentrate on?
Technique,feel,emotions
10.On Saturdaynight you can also play a few songs at the pubconcerts, would
you like to play a few songs as well?i don't know!!!!
11.On Sundaynight we’ve got the Jamsession, would you like to jam with us?i
would like,,,,but can i do it???
12.Which kind of music do you like?jazz,electonic,drum and
bass,rock,pop,....all good music...classic too...
13.How did you discover the Stick?i discovered it thorough Tony Levin(in
Liquid Tension Experiment)
14.What is your goal in music
To express my emotions the best that i can,to relax and discover myself
15.Do you eat meat/fish or are you vegetarian ? (We’ve got to know this for
our communal dinner)I eat EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
