I have the honour to announce the 1st Stick Seminar of 2004 in Holland .
In this anniversary year (Stick is 30 years in production) this seminar will be held in the town of Zaandam (near Amsterdam) .

The seminar is organized by Ron Baggerman (Galaxy Gypsy Productions) and Stickplayer/Singer Frank Leurs of Zaandam.

Hello Stickists , I'm proud to welcome you in my hometown Zaandam for the "Saens Stick seminar".

In his free time :) Frank is also a dental technician (no, no discount for Stickplayers with false teeth) and in his working space there is room for 20 Stickplayers to sleep free of charge , as long as they bring a sleeping bag and airmatrass. If you want more privacy: there are plenty of cheap hotels (Formule 1as well) near the Seminar place.

Mr.Leurs has arranged space in the local Center of the Arts Fluxus for the seminar 1 concert on fridayand 4 concerts in pubs nearby with the teachers and pupils. Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th there will be group and private lessons starting around 9h30 until 17hoo with tea/coffee and lunch break.
Fridaynight 2 April there will be a concert with Bob, Andre, Jim and Ron in

We've got a great rhytm section that night: Carel Vrieling on drums and Rick Burgemeestre of Maracazz on percussion
and we'll also have on violin Cécile Broché from France who'll join the fun!
Saturday 3 April :in the next 4 pubs the Stickconcerts will take place:
-Blacksmith in Zaandam : Andre Pelat-Stick and Lex Bak-Drums
-Gambrinus in Zaandam : Bob Culbertson-Stick and Carel Vrieling-Drums
-De Toog Zuideinde 50 - Koog aan de Zaan : Ron Baggerman-Stick and Juul Du Perron-Drums
-Koninckspleinin Zaandam : Jim Lampi-Stick and Ben Rozema-Drums
Sundaynight 4 April there'll be a Stick jam session in pub theBlacksmith for teachers ,students and open for the public. Carel and maybe Juul will be on drums
At these 4 places there is room for other Stickstudents to perform some tunes.
Once again Seminar Space ,the concertspaces and hotels are within walking distance.

Amplification during Seminar:
The seminar with the big group will be all with headphones. Everybody has to bring a headphone+ headphone amp (or regular amp with headphone output)
Only the teachers will play through an amp , so the students don't get interference from other players and can hear himself very well.
Only in the small groups will everybody play through an amp.
